Nashville Scrapperettes Shine at Little Rock Christian Academy Classic

The Nashville Scrapperettes Basketball team recently competed in the Little Rock Christian Academy Classic, showcasing strong performances throughout the tournament.

On Friday, December 27, the Scrapperettes faced off against the Bryant Lady Hornets in a closely contested game. Despite a valiant effort, the Scrapperettes were narrowly defeated 54-50. However, the standout player of the game was Karstyn Scrivner, a junior who scored an impressive 25 points, earning her the Player of the Game nomination.

The following day, on Saturday, December 28, the Scrapperettes bounced back with a commanding victory over the Parkview Lady Patriots, winning 59-34. In this game, Ava Basiliere, a sophomore, was recognized as the Player of the Game for her outstanding performance on the court.

The Scrapperettes continued their success on Monday, December 30, with a decisive 63-37 win against the Rogers Lady Mountaineers. Angel Watson, a junior, was named Player of the Game, while Karstyn Scrivner was also honored with a spot on the All-Tournament Team for her consistent excellence throughout the competition.

Head Coach Paul Dean discussed the Scrapperettes’ overall performance during the Little Rock Christian Academy Classic, highlighting the team’s strengths and areas for growth.

Dean also shared insights on the team’s focus for the remainder of the season, emphasizing key areas of improvement and what the Scrapperettes will be concentrating on moving forward.

The Scrapperettes will be on the road today to Little Rock to face the Little Rock Central Lady Tigers at 6pm.

With strong individual performances and a team-focused approach, the Scrapperettes are looking forward to continuing their successful season.
