Nashville Scrapperette Softball team kicks off season this week
Recently KMTB and KNAS took a moment to talk with Nashville Scrapperette’s Head Softball Coach Boomer Brown. Brown started off by discussing the season which starts this week.
Brown said he has three good seniors this year. The first one he recognized was Nancy Worthington and how she’s done an outstanding job for four years along with Emily Bailey and Emily Wallis.
Brown also mentioned the players that will be playing in the infield this season.
Brown stated that this year they have some really good clutch power hitters, and he feels that the Scrapperettes will be able to put pressure on the opposing teams.
In conclusion, Brown complimented the fields and gave credit to the ones that get the fields ready every year. Brown said as far as eligibility goes all 25 of his players are bringing in good grades and that makes him very proud.
