Nashville Scrappers Prepare for Rivalry Matchup Against Ashdown

On Tuesday, KMTB and KNAS had the chance to speak with Nashville Scrapper Head Football Coach Brad Chesshir about tonight’s much-anticipated matchup against longtime rival, the Ashdown Panthers.
Chesshir described the intensity and tradition behind the game, calling it one of Nashville’s biggest rivalries — a matchup that feels almost like a high school version of the Super Bowl.
The coach acknowledged that Ashdown is a tough opponent and said he fully expects the Panthers to bring their best effort to the field.
He also shared his thoughts on Ashdown’s offense.
And after reviewing game film, Chesshir discussed a few things that stood out to him about Ashdown’s overall strategy and execution.
Tonight’s game will be held on the hill, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. Fans can catch live coverage on B99.5, where the action will be broadcast for those unable to attend in person.
