Nashville Splits Pair Of Games With Mena
Nashville and Mena split their 7-4A conference games Tuesday night at Scrapper Arena.
In the girls contest, Mena beat the Scrapperettes 54-47. Nashville led after a quarter of play, but Mena dominated in the second quarter to have a 13 point halftime lead. With last night’s loss, the Scrapperettes dropped to 7-4 in conference play and are now in a three way tie for second place with Mena and Bauxite.
In the boys game, Mena scored the game’s first three points but Nashville dominated the rest of the way for a sportsmanship rule victory 58 to 27. The Scrappers improved their conference record to 8-3 with the win.
Nashville will host Senior Night Saturday against Hope in the final game of the regular season.
