Nashville Superintendent Speaks to Nashville Rotary Club
Nashville School Superintendent Doug Graham spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club Wednesday about changes for the upcoming school year.
Graham started by saying, that “everyone has a plan before the game or fight starts, but that plans may change once you’ve been hit in the mouth.” He said the Nashville School District has a plan, but it may change between now and August 24.
Graham reiterated the district will be providing on-site education and virtual education. However, he said they were also preparing for a blended approach if necessary.
Graham said currently 16 percent of the students in the district have elected to take classes virtually, but he expects that number to climb to 20 percent.
Graham also stated additional custodians were being hired to ensure the safety of students, teachers and staff.
