Nashville To Select Cheerleaders Through Visual Tryouts

One of the Nashville School District activities affected by the COVID-19 health emergency has been cheerleader tryouts.

The junior and senior high competitions were originally scheduled for the first week that students missed classes.

The Arkansas Activities Association has halted any type of sporting event or other activity that brings students together so school officials are going a different route in holding cheerleader tryouts.

Virtual tryouts will be held later this month.

Cheer sponsors are in the process of getting the detailed information to students who are scheduled to participate.
