Nashville woman charged with possession of meth cocaine and drug paraphernalia
A traffic stop has led to the arrest of a Nashville woman. 57 year old Laurie Ann Roberts is charged with felony counts of possessing meth cocaine and possessing drug paraphernalia. Roberts was arrested January 12th after Nashville officer Dustin Wakefield said he saw Roberts getting in her vehicle at a local business. Wakefield said he knew Roberts had an outstanding felony warrant and a suspended drivers license. During the traffic stop, Officer Wakefield asked for, and was granted, a consent to search Roberts’ vehicle. As she was exiting the vehicle, reports said Wakefield noticed something in Roberts’ boot. Police reports say the item was a cigarette purse that contained a glass smoking pipe, with suspected methamphetamine residue.
