Neal McCoy to Headline Nashville’s Stand Up for America Celebration
The Nashville Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that country music star Neal McCoy will headline this year’s annual Stand Up for America celebration at Nashville City Park on Saturday, July 4.
McCoy has enjoyed a highly successful career in country music, releasing 15 studio albums and charting 34 singles on country radio. He earned back-to-back No. 1 hits with “No Doubt About It” and “Wink” from his platinum-certified album No Doubt About It. During the late 1990s, he added two more platinum albums, a gold album, and six additional Top 10 hits to his impressive resume. His seventh Top 10 single, “Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On,” came from his self-released album That’s Life.
In 2013, McCoy released Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride, honoring his longtime friend, mentor, and country music legend Charley Pride. McCoy spent years opening for Pride after winning a talent contest that helped launch his career.
Beyond music, McCoy is widely recognized for his patriotism and community service. He has participated in 15 USO tours, entertaining American troops around the world, and gained national attention for reciting the Pledge of Allegiance daily on Facebook for 10 consecutive years.
McCoy’s commitment to helping others has earned him multiple humanitarian awards from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Radio Broadcasters, and the Masonic Grand Lodge. He also founded the East Texas Angel Network, a charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in East Texas who are living with terminal or life-threatening illnesses.
Tickets for the Stand Up for America event are available now at the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Arkansas Radio, and online by scanning the QR code featured on Stand Up for America promotional posters. Reserved tickets are $50 each. Adult general admission tickets are $25, children 6 to 12 are $10 and children under 5 are free.
