New State Troopers Assigned To Region

Three members of the latest Arkansas State Police recruiting class are being assigned to southwest Arkansas.

Troopers who graduated last week and received their first assignments of duty include 26 year old Seth Medley. He is a graduate of Fountain Lake High School and Henderson State University. Smedley will be assigned to cover Troop K and stationed in Pike county.

25 year old Ian Nelson, an Oklahoma native, is being placed in Little River county and 31 year old Brian Palmer of Magnolia will be assigned to cover Columbia county for Troop G.

The new troopers will be placed with a certified departmental Field Training Officer for transitional period prior to being released to their assignment.
