New Tyson Feed Mill Being Built In Hempstead County

Construction is underway in Hempstead County on a new 65 million dollar feed mill owned by Tyson Foods. The unit replaces the Tyson mills in Nashville and Hope. The facility is being built on a 320 acre site and will provide railroad access to supply feed continually.

Tyson is the 9th largest feed producer in the world and the second largest poultry company.

Construction on the new mill is expected to be complete by the end of next year.
