New Year’s Day Hikes Scheduled Around Area

The Arkansas State Parks Department says a number of hikes are planned for New Year’s Day.  In southwest Arkansas, the state parks at Millwood Lake, Cossatot River, Daisy and Old Washington are hosting first day hikes. 
Each hike varies in start time as well as in the degree of difficulty and length.
