The Nashville Scrapper basketball team opened their 2022-2023 season on the road last week against the Centerpoint Knights. Coach Aaron Worthen then shared his expectations for this year’s team with the Nashville Rotary Club.

Worthen said he had 10 players that have been working out during the off-season and will have a few join the team following the conclusion of the 2022 football season. He said the team will be undersized but he feels this will be fun season and he likes their heart.

Worthen there will be several changes this year.

He also announced said the Scrapper’s new conference will include Camden Fairview and Magnolia who move down from 5A. And, Ashdown will remain in the conference this spring for basketball, baseball, softball and track. Worthen said the conference was going to be good from top to bottom.
