NHS Senior serving as FCCLA’s National Vice President of Parliamentary Law

NHS Senior Luis Maya II was recently elected to serve on the Family, Career and Communities Leaders of America’s (FCCLA) National Executive Council at the National Leadership Conference in Denver, Colorado. Maya talked about other activities he’s been involved in so far this year.

Maya even mentioned his time at Boy State at UCA, how he served while he was there, along with mentioning the growth of the FCCLA organization.

Maya talked about the difference between Boy State and Arkansas Governor’s School.

Maya talked about what he’s looking forward to and hopes to accomplish at Nashville High School.

Maya will also be serving as FCCLA’s National Vice President of Parliamentary Law throughout the 2023-2024 school year.

Maya will be accompanying his team of nine other members, which make up the national Executive Council, to FCCLA National Headquarters in Herndon, Virginia.  Maya along with the other officers will prepare for future workshops, and meetings on the local, state, and national levels.
