NHS STUDENT RUNNING FOR NATIONAL FCCLA OFFICER

Nashville native and State FCCLA First Vice President for Arkansas, Luis Maya is running for National FCCLA Officer. 

Maya, who is also a Junior at Nashville High School, discussed what other organizations he’s involved in besides FCCLA and he talked about what instruments he plays in the band. 

Maya talked about how he got started in FCCLA along with the benefits of being a member.

Maya explained the election process of the FCCLA chapter and how he got prepared for the regional and state level.

Maya stated that he has ideas for his speech and he’s studying for the National leadership conference. Maya even mentioned what cities he’s traveled to for the national conferences.

Maya said quote “Arkansas and Howard County has given me everything that I know. I feel I owe the people here and I feel proud to be an Arkansan.”
