NJHS FCCLA Members Competing in the State FCCLA STAR Event Competition

The NJHS FCCLA members will be competing in the State FCCLA STAR Event Competitions in April. 

FCCLA Members for the Event Management rubric are 9th graders Zoe Sitzes and Hailie Vennard, and for the Food Innovation rubric are 8th graders Kaylee Santamaria, Christy Maya, and Lily Arbuthnott. 

Advisor Christy Hanney talked about how hard the 9th and 8th grade students have been working along with what other competitions they have attended.

Santamaria of the Food Innovation rubric, talked about the process of fixing up recipes and what was their goal on creating a healthier cookie. 

Hanney talked about member Zoe Sitzes attending the planning an election meeting.

Hanney even discussed the upcoming FCCLA event A night on the red-carpet fashion show and what the proceeds will go towards.

FCCLA A night on the Red-Carpet Fashion Show will be this Friday March 17th at 6:00pm. Tickets are $15, and it will be held at the NHS Cafeteria.
