November Unemployment Numers

Unemployment rates rose slightly in November for several southwest Arkansas counties. Howard County’s number for November was three percent which is two tenths of a percent above the October rate. Elsewhere, Pike county reported a November unemployment rate of 3.6 percent and Hempstead county’s figure was 3.5 percent.

Around the state, unemployment numbers in November ranged from 2.1 percent in Washington county to a high rate of 6.2 percent in Jackson county.
