Now is the time to treat yards for spurweeds

Many people aren’t familiar with spurweed by name, but chances are, are you have encountered the plant’s seeds if try to walk barefoot across your yard in the spring and summer months. because those seeds turn in to pods of stickers. Pike County Extension Agent Terrell Davis says herbicides will kill the plants, but they need to be applied through early November:
