NPD investigating shooting incident

Nashville police are investigating an incident where shots were fired at a residence. Police Chief Amy Marion said officers were dispatched to the 14 hundred block of South Main Street on December 10th. During their investigation, Marion said officers recovered 16 shell casings on the street in front of the residence. Police also say three spent rounds that went through the outside wall of the home were also recovered. The rounds that struck the residence landed in a bedroom and the kitchen. Marion said there were several occupants in the house at the time the shooting, but no injuries were reported.
