NPD Officers responded to a domestic disturbance
On September 7th, 2023, Nashville Patrol Officer Jarrett Rogers responded to a domestic disturbance on Elm Street in Nashville.
According to the affidavit, when officers arrived, they spoke with a female subject identified as Dariana Moreno. Moreno reportedly told officers that she and her boyfriend, identified as 21-year-old Ronald E Pineda, had gotten into an argument on East Peachtree Street and she had left the residence. As reported, Moreno asked officers to go to East Peachtree Street so she could get her belongings and return to Texarkana.
Also, according to the affidavit, Officer Rogers ran a check of Pineda through the on-duty dispatcher and was advised that he had active warrants for probation violation, for non-payment of fines, and that Pineda also had a search waiver on file.
Officers then reportedly traveled to East Peachtree Street and located Pineda. While officers were at the residence, it was reported that Pineda was taken into custody and police conducted a search in Pineda’s bedroom and located two glass jars containing suspected marijuana, two sets of digital scales with suspected marijuana residue on them, one grinder containing suspected marijuana, one plastic bag containing suspected marijuana, and one manual cigarette roller.
Pineda was charged with possession of a schedule VI-controlled substance marijuana with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
