NPD responds to a domestic dispute

On January 28th, 2024, at around 9:35pm, officers were called to South Pine Street in Nashville, in reference to a domestic dispute. 

According to police records, the victim informed officers that she and her child’s father 38-year-old Christopher Wright of Nashville got into a physical altercation after Wright snatched their one-year-old son out of her arms. Police were also told by the victim that Wright shoved her down the steps causing her to hit the left side of her cheek and back and that she was also 13 weeks pregnant with Wright’s child. Wright reportedly admitted to knowing about the pregnancy. Wright was arrested and transported to the Howard County Jail where he was charged with domestic battering in the third degree.
