NSD School Board approves attendance incentive

Earlier this week, the Nashville School Board held their regular monthly meeting.

Superintendent Doug Graham discussed a policy that was in regard to an attendance incentive that would encourage teachers not to miss any days this school year.

There was a motion made by board members Nick Britt and seconded by Jamar Finley to approve the new attendance incentive policy as presented by Superintendent Graham. All were in favor of the motion. The board also approved a motion for graduation to remain on Mother’s Day which would be on May 12th, 2024. 

In conclusion, Graham also discussed when games are going to be live streamed this year.
