NSD Special Called Meeting

Board Members of the Nashville School District held a special called meeting yesterday.

During the meeting Superintendent Doug Graham made a recommendation to the board the resignations of Deanna Triplet who was the Career Coach, NHS Teacher Ashley Elmore, Paul Edwards, Jeremy Lofton, and Nashville Primary LLC Teachers Jane Caldwell and Candy Hood. There was a motion made by David Hilliard and seconded by Jerry Wilson to accept those resignations. All were in favor of the motion.

In conclusion, Graham made another recommendation for employment of staff such as transferring Angie Barfield from classroom teacher at NJHS to ALE Teacher, Irene Carrilla as NJHS Special Ed Paraprofessional, Samantha Humphrey as Bus Driver, Sara Horne as ESOL Coordinator, Kaylee Marshall as Special Ed Aide, Lacy Williams as FACTS Teacher, and Dr Josh Kessler as a Biology Teacher. There was a motion made by Nick Britt and seconded by David Hilliard to accept the employment of staff as presented recommendations. All were in favor of the motion.
