Over 1,000 ballots cast during first week of early voting in Howard County

The first week of early voting wrapped up Saturday. Howard County Clerk Keri Teague said 1,911 people have cast a ballot already in Howard County. That is several hundred more than voted in the primary election process earlier this year. It also represents 26.2 percent of the registered voter total.
Early voting continues through Friday from 8 to 6 each day. Votes may also be cast Saturday, October 31st, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The final day for early voting is Monday, November 2nd. The polls will be open then from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Howard County’s early voting process is taking place at the Carter Day Center on North Main Street.
