Ozan resident charged with felony count of sexual assault

An Ozan resident is scheduled to report back July 18th to Pike County Circuit Court.  21 year old Tanner Chism is charged with a felony count of Second Degree Sexual Assault and a misdemeanor charge of 4th Degree Sexual Assault.  The charges were filed this week in connection with an incident that was reported last month.  Murfreesboro Police began the initial investigation and then contacted the Crimes Against Children Division of the Arkansas State Police.  Prosecutors say the charges against Chism involve inappropriate contact made with two juvenile age females.  Chism’s bond was reduced to $35,000 dollars yesterday.
