Parole search in Pike County results in arrest for drug possession

November 22, 2022, Agent John Jones, Jason McDonald with the 9th West
Judicial Drug Task Force conducted an ACIC check on 48 year old Thomas
Tigue of Murfreesboro and found a parole search on file.
As
reported, Agent Jones along with Officers of the Murfreesboro Police
Department, went to 721 Pine St in Murfreesboro to conduct a search on
Tigue. Jones reportedly found a clear baggy with a white substance
believed to be methamphetamine and Tigue was placed into custody
afterwards.
It was reported that Agents began
searching the bedroom and confiscated marijuana and 2 bags with residue
in a black glass case. Officers stated that Tigue said the bags were not
his but confessed that the marijuana was his.
Tigue
was transported to the Pike County Detention Center and was charged
with Possession of a control substance meth and possession of drug
paraphernalia.
