Part Two: Jaron Tipton on Why the T-Mobile 5G Contest Matters to More Than Just Dierks

Recently, KMTB and KNAS had a chance to speak with Jaron Tipton — a dedicated leader in the Dierks community who serves as President of the School Board, a Booster Club member, and an alderman on the Dierks City Council.

Tipton began by sharing a personal story about his roots — raised by a coach and a teacher, he developed a strong love for athletics but was always reminded of what comes first.

That balance of academics and athletics is a key reason Tipton is so passionate about the opportunity Dierks High School has right now as it competes in the T-Mobile 5G Friday Night Lights contest.

He spoke emotionally about the deep connection he has to the Outlaw football field — a place full of memories, challenges, and community pride.

With the contest nearing its end, Tipton also reminded voters that the deadline is fast approaching.

With just days left, the Dierks Outlaws are hoping for a strong finish — backed by community support, state pride, and the belief that great things can happen when education and athletics come together.

Stay with KMTB and KNAS for continued coverage of the T-Mobile 5G contest and how it could make a lasting impact on the students and families of Southwest Arkansas.
