Permit Numbers For 2019 In Nashville

No new commercial construction permits were issued by the city of Nashville this year.  According to Code Enforcement Officer David Riggs, only five building permits were issued and they were all for remodeling work.  Aside from those permits, Riggs says his office issued 17 plumbing permits, 25 electrical permits and six mechanical permits were issued for heating and air conditioning work. 

In the enforcement category, there were 114 complaint investigations made this year.  Riggs said his office mailed out 254 letters to property owners and Nashville saw 85 pieces of property get cleaned up this year.
