Pettway drafted by Michigan Panthers of the USFL

A former Nashville Scrapper football standout has been selected to play in this year’s United States Football League season.  Former Scrapper wide receiver La’Michael Pettway was drafted this week as the 11th player in the 34th round.  He was chosen by the Michigan Panthers.  After completing his high school career at Nashville, Pettway signed a scholarship offer with the University of Arkansas.  He played three seasons for Arkansas and was the teams receiving yards leader in 2018.  Pettway then transferred to Iowa State University to complete his college career in 2019.

USFL games are set to begin in April and will be televised by four networks.
