Pike County Court

Pike County court was in session yesterday seeing 40 YO Silas Humphry of Delight. Humphry faces 3 felony charges 1 for 1st degree terroristic threatening, 1 for 3rd degree domestic battery, and 1 for kidnapping. Court documents indicate that Humphry allegedly met with a woman from an online dating site, who after arriving at his residence, texted her family that Humphry had beat her and was holding her against her will. After the woman’s family was unable to locate her she was reported missing.

The woman’s last known location was determined via her cell phone’s GPS and a team was put together to respond to the residence.. There, law enforcement located both the woman and Silas Humphry. Since this alleged occurrence Humphry has been in and out of court throughout 2021 and has had trial dates continuously pushed back since August of last year. Humphrey, as of yesterday, plead “not guilty” and has a pre-trial date set for the 21st of this month with a jury trial to take place on February 3rd.
