Pike County Court

Pike County Court met Monday seeing 20 YO Jamie Jackson of Murfreesboro. Jackson is facing a 4th degree sexual assault charge involving another individual under the age of 16.

On July 21st Crimes Against Children conducted an interview with the alleged victim who disclosed that she and Jamie Jackson had sexual intercourse on two different occasions. Upon notifying the Murfreesboro Police and Howard County Sheriff’s Office an interview was conducted with Jackson by Chief Randy Lamb assisted by Howard County Investigator Cassey Parker. Jackson admitted to the allegations however stated he was told that at the time he was told she was seventeen.

Howard County Investigator Blake Eudy administered a voice stress test to Jackson which indicated Jackson to be deceptive when answering questions concerning the alleged victim’s age. After faced with these results Jackson admitted that he thought she might be 15-years old.

Jackson has a pre-trial date set for November 29th and a Trial date set for December 9th.
