Pike County Court

In Pike County Court this week 49 year old Teri Lee of Arkadelphia was present. Lee faces a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance under 2 grams. Lee was observed by an Arkansas State Trooper driving a vehicle with a severely damaged windshield on Hwy 27 near Laurel Creek.

A traffic stop was initiated and upon identifying Lee and running his details Trooper Smedley became aware that Lee had a suspended driver license. Lee was asked to exit the vehicle and notified a search would be done. During the search troopers located approximately .39 grams of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, and a bottle containing Lorazepam pills.

Lee’s vehicle was recovered by a wrecker service and Lee was transported to Pike County Sheriff’s Office. Lee has a pre-trial date set for January 3rd and a jury trial set for February 3rd.
