Pike County Extension offering ‘Flowers Night Out’ Event

Pike County Extension Agriculture Agent Codie McAlister has announced a “Flowers Night Out” event scheduled for Friday, April 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will be held in the Community Room at the Murfreesboro Municipal Building and is open to the public.

McAlister says the program will focus on proper care for flowers, houseplants, and flowering bushes. Attendees will also enjoy a light meal, have opportunities to win door prizes, and create their own bouquet to take home.

The cost is $25 per person, which includes the meal and all materials.

Registration is available by scanning the QR code on the event flyer, which can be found on the station’s website at SouthwestArkansasRadio.com. You may also register by calling the Pike County Extension Office at 870-285-2161. Payment can be made at the door through Thursday, April 2.

The event is sponsored by The Trendy Hanger in Nashville.
