Pike County Extension Office to Host Suicide Awareness and Prevention Event

Yesterday, KMTB and KNAS had the chance to speak with Eva Langley, Staff Chair of the Pike County Extension Office, about their upcoming Suicide Awareness and Prevention event set for September 9th and September 16th.

Langley revealed that the event, held in partnership with the Pike County Hometown Health Coalition, will be structured into two parts featuring three speakers on distinct topics.

Langley explained the focus of the first speaker, who will address specific topics.

She continued by outlining the second speaker’s focus on veterans and the third speaker’s discussion on managing stress.
