Pike County Extension Service Holding Virtual Day Camps

The Pike County Cooperative Extension Service is offering virtual day camps this summer.

The sessions, offered through Zoom, will be made available each Thursday at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM through July. Extension staff and Pike County 4-H members, as well as some members of the community, will be teaching the virtual camps.

A Zoom link will be posted each Thursday morning at 8:00 o’clock on the Pike County 4-H Facebook page. Participants will need to register for each day camp session and will be allowed to participate in the live event. Each session will also be recorded and posted to the 4-H Facebook page.

Some of the scheduled virtual day camp sessions will include information on washing, sorting, and folding laundry, how to change a tire, meal planning, how to check oil in a vehicle, and first aid and self defense tactics.
