President of Pafford Medical Services made proposal to the Nashville City Council

Last week, KMTB and KNAS had a brief discussion with President and CEO of Pafford Medical Services Jamie Pafford. Pafford was present at the Nashville City Council August meeting where she made a proposal requesting that the council adopt Pafford’s rate structure as an amendment to the contract.

Pafford voiced concern about the North end of Howard County along with giving the reason why an ambulance can’t be placed in that area at this time.

Pafford even discussed ACT 597 and ACT 578 being discussed in this past legislative session that dealt with in network and out of network ambulance rates.

Pafford stated that this is their 57th year in business and she talks about how much she loves talking about the ambulance industry and how it is a very important asset that the communities have.
