Private Use Pesticide disposal event scheduled in Howard County

The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service in Howard and Pike counties is teaming up to offer a free, one day disposal of private use pesticides that may be outdated or unused.  The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5th at the Howard County Fairgrounds. 

Davis says these types of pesticides are not permitted to be disposed of through landfills:
