Ralph Gross Memorial Tournament opens today

A triple header of games will open the 18th annual Ralph Gross Memorial Baseball Tournament today at Wilson Park in Nashville.  Game one begins at one o’clock this afternoon and features Magnolia playing Paul Pewitt, Texas.  That game will be followed at 3:30 this afternoon with the Nashville Scrappers facing Warren, and the final game on today’s opening round schedule will match Prairie Grove and Redwater, Texas in a six p.m. contest.

The tournament continues with three games Friday and a full day of baseball planned on Saturday, leading up to the championship contest at six p.m.
