Reese retiring as Nashville Chamber executive director
Executive Director Mike Reese will be retiring from the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
Reese talked about having a job for 64 years, his own business for 30 years, being involved in politics for 8 years, and being in the chamber business for 13 years. Reese even talked about his time as a business owner.
Reese discussed being elected as the mayor of Nashville in 2002 and how he got started with the chamber.
Reese said they have a gentleman in mind to fill his position, that’s also retiring from another job, and Reese talked about how he feels about retiring.
Reese stated that the Chamber has 4 new board members joining that has good ideas. Reese says he hopes that things continue to progress, that the Chamber continues to serve the community, and that the Chamber brings recognition to people that need to be recognized, especially the ones that contribute to the community.
