Lawrence named November Daisy Award winner

Phyllis Lawrence has been nominated for the Daisy Award by the family Wilton Graves.

The Daisy Award is awarded for extraordinary nursing. Nurses can be nominated by anyone in the organization, including patients, family members, other nurses, physicians, other clinicians and staff, anyone who experiences or observes extraordinary compassionate care being provided by a nurse.

Graves’ family described Lawrence as calm, caring and quick to take care of their family member’s needs.

Lawrence is a RN at Howard Memorial Hospital and she is the November 2020 Daisy Award Recipient.
