Regional Tournament information

High school basketball regional tournament play begins around the state tomorrow.  Nashville’s Scrapper Arena will host the 4A South Region.  Tomorrow’s games begin with a four o’clock girls contest between De Queen and Magnolia.  Those same two schools will meet in a boys game at 5:30.  The other games tomorrow feature the Nashville Scrapperettes taking on Hamburg at 7 p.m. and the Ft. Lake boys will face Camden Fairview tomorrow night at 8:30.

At Mineral Springs, the district is hosting the Region 4-1A tournament.  Tomorrow’s opening day schedule features a girls contest at four o’clock between Bradley and Blevins.  There’s also a 7 p.m. girls game tomorrow night between Kirby and Taylor.

The Class A regional tournament boys bracket tomorrow has Bradley and Kirby playing at 5:30 and Mineral Springs will face Nevada in tomorrow’s final game at 8:30.

With Mineral Springs hosting the tournament, the school district has announced they will dismiss from classes Wednesday through Friday afternoon, at two o’clock this week.
