Howard County Quorum Court

Monday, during the Howard County Quorum Court regular monthly meeting Howard County Judge Brent Pinkerton informed JPs that he attended a meeting last Wednesday morning at the Airport and that the grant was received for the hangers’ project that will be starting soon.

Pinkerton stated that on that Wednesday afternoon, he and Sheriff Bryan McJunkins along with Nashville Mayor Larry Dunaway met with engineers of South Bill and discussed the floor plans of the jail project. McJunkins said that this will be a 20-bed expansion project.

McJunkins explained to the quorum that the South Bill Company are project managers, and they have someone overseeing everything to keep down time to a minimum.

In conclusion, Judge Pinkerton had informed the quorum that he was contacted by John Gray of Pafford Medical Services on September 22nd via text to see if Pinkerton could go ahead and get Pafford’s rates and contract approved by the Howard County Quorum.  Due to Pafford not having a representative present at this month’s quorum court meeting to further discuss the means of the contract, JPs decided not to do the agreement with Pafford.
