Rep. Dolly Henley Shares Legislative Insights with Nashville Rotary Club
State Representative Dolly Henley, who represents District 88, spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club on Wednesday, offering a behind-the-scenes look at her work during her first term in the 95th General Assembly.
Henley explained the committee structure at the state level, noting that representatives can be appointed to as many as 10 committees. Currently, she serves on two.
She also broke down how legislation moves forward, highlighting the importance of committee support.
In addition, Henley spoke about some of the legislation she has contributed to during her term, sharing examples of bills she’s helped move forward.
Henley’s visit provided Rotary members with valuable insight into the legislative process and the role she plays in representing the interests of her district at the Capitol.
