Repair Work Completed At City Lake Spillway

The renovation project at Lake Nichols spillway in Nashville is complete.

Public works director Larry Dunaway said water had been undermining the levee but the repairs have worked well during the recent rain.

The project is expected to cost around 350 thousand dollars which is less than originally thought. The city’s portion is expected to be around 182 thousand dollars with the remainder coming from the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management and other state sources.
