Reverse Christmas Parade planned for Nashville

Saturday, December 12th is the date set for this year’s Christmas parade in Nashville . There are some changes made due to Covid-19. This year’s parade will take place at the city park and will be a reverse parade, meaning the floats and displays will be stationary and spectators will drive by. Instead of the traditional floats, the chamber is suggesting entries be done in the form of a booth, decorated in your favorite holiday theme. Judging will be done by cars that drive through the park. Chamber personnel say each vehicle will be given a ballot to vote on their favorite parade setup. Cash prizes will be given to the top three booths.
Vehicles driving through will also be able to decorate their rides & compete for a $50 gas card and gift basket. Voting on the best decorated vehicle will be done by each booth at the park. Winners will be announced December 14th.
As vehicles complete the drive around the park, children will receive a bag of goodies from Santa.
The reserve parade begins at 5:30 p.m.
