Ridgeway Baptist Church to host annual Community Wide Thanksgiving Day Meal on Thursday

Ridgeway Baptist Church will be hosting their annual Community Wide Thanksgiving Day Meal on Thursday, November 24 from 11 am to 1 pm.

Pastor Alan Cook said Ridgeway Baptist Church as been hosting this event for over 20 years and this year’s event will be a drive thru event, like last year.

Cook said there are several people in the area that need a little assistance this time of year, whether they are elderly and don’t have any family visiting, younger families who just simply don’t cook or those that need some assistance during these difficult economic times.

Cook said they will also deliver meals to shut-ins within the Nashville city limits. The meals will include turkey and dressing, ham, cranberry sauce, corn green beans, roll and a desert.

Cook said all you have to do is drive up the circle drive at the church’s fellowship hall and tell them how many meals you need and they will prepare them for you. For more information, call Larry Elrod at 870-845-8814.
