Roadside cleanup project set for Saturday in North Howard County

Officials with the North Howard Community Council say response has been good for a planned trash pickup day Saturday for roadsides in the area.  The organization is seeking volunteers to help pickup trash on county and state roads, along and north of U.S. Highway 70, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Two hundred dollars is being made available to groups of ten or more who participate.  Adult supervision is required for children 11 to 18 years of age.
