Robinson sentenced to 3-years in ADC

A Nashville man arrested July 4th of last year for firing a pistol in the air has been sentenced to three years in prison. Officers were sent to a trailer park on Peachtree Street after receiving a complaint of possible gunshots. While on the call, police say they observed 31 year old Freddie Robinson shooting a pistol in the air. After confronting Robinson, police say they learned he was a convicted felon. Robinson was convicted on the firearms possession charge Wednesday in Howard County Circuit Court. He entered a plea of guilty to the charge and was given the three year prison sentence..along with an additional three year suspended sentence.
