Rotary Club Hears from Howard County Children’s Center Representatives
At Wednesday’s meeting, members of the Nashville Rotary Club welcomed a special presentation from the Howard County Children’s Center. Speaking on behalf of the center were Director Rose Ray, Deputy Director Andrea Britt, and four program participants who shared their experiences.
Director Rose Ray expressed gratitude to the Rotary Club for its continued support, particularly for sponsoring the 28th Annual Radiothon. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the center. Ray also outlined how community members can contribute to this important fundraiser.
In her remarks, Ray shared the history of the center and described its growth and impact on the community over the years.
Deputy Director Andrea Britt discussed current programs at the Rainbow Learning Center, highlighting that 100 children are currently enrolled. She also spoke about the various educational and support services offered.
