Rotary Club Speaker – Will Bell – Nashville Park’s Activity Supervisor

Rotary Club met Wednesday with speaker Will Bell presenting. Bell is the new Activity Supervisor for the Nashville Parks Department. Bell previously worked as an officer for the Nashville Police Department then West Memphis before returning to Nashville. Bell said he is looking forward to opening up new opportunities for youth in the area and would like to see a wide variety of sports offered at a younger age to help get kids involved.

Soccer season launched this week for the city and saw its largest interest in the departments history with over 220 kids registered.

Bell says they are still looking for a coach or two to fill out the ranks due to the surplus in sign-ups as well as sponsors for those teams. If you’re interested in either of these opportunities contact the Nashville Parks department at 845-7405.
