Rotary Football Banquet Honors 2025 Nashville Scrappers After Championship Season

The annual Rotary Football Banquet was held Saturday at the Nashville High School cafeteria, celebrating the accomplishments of the 2025 Nashville Scrapper football team following their District 7-4A championship season.

The event brought together players, coaches, parents, and community members to recognize the team’s successful year. Head Coach Brad Chesshir said the banquet was a great way to honor everyone who contributed to the season, offering special thanks to the parents and school district for their continued support.

During the banquet, several individual awards were presented, including Outstanding Receiver, Outstanding Offensive Lineman, and multiple other team honors. Coach Chesshir explained that various members of the coaching staff presented the awards throughout the evening.

The night concluded with Superintendent Doug Graham presenting the Most Valuable Player Award to Scrapper senior Makhi Johnson, highlighting his leadership and performance during the season.

Additional honors handed out during the banquet included 4A All-State, 7-4A All-Conference, 7-4A All-Conference Honorable Mention, Senior Award, and Senior Manager recognitions.
